 The present DSA Engineers (Bombay) has its genesis when the Late Mr. Mahendra Singh, MI (Struct) E, London, was designing the Railway tracks from Bombay to Pune (in the hilly terrain), as he felt the need to contribute something more to the world. To this end he promoted Mahendra Singh & Sons a proprietory concern to promote Public Health Engineering (PHE) as a specialised field.
Mr. Mahendra Singh was based at Lahore, he was the pioneer in India to design and install septic tanks with disposal fields, soak pits, oxidation ponds. He was the first person in India to introduce flush valves imported from Shanks.
In the early 60's Mr. D M Singh, MIWWA, AAE (India), MIAWPC, MRSH - London joined the Company, founded under the name and style of Model Engineers, yet another new business entity by Late Mr. Mahendra Singh. Mr. Devender Singh was the first non-medico person to have received the Honorary Membership from the ROYAL SOCIETY OF HEALTH, London for his work in the field of Public Health Engineering.

Mr. D. M. Singh: MIWWA, AAE (India), MIAWPC, MRSH (London)
- He has been actively involved in the Construction industry since early 1960's. He overlooks the entire countrywide operations of DSA Engineers.
- He is the only non-medico person to receive an honorary membership from the Royal Society of Health, London for his pioneering work in the field of Public Health engineering.
- He is an active member of the steering body of Indian Standards Institute ("ISI") which drafts/amends standards and codes for various construction practices in India.
Mr. Puneet Walia
He has been actively involved in the Construction industry since mid 1980's. He is responsible for the overall operations of DSA Engineers. He is:
- Responsible for corporating the operations by implementing operating systems.
- Responsible for introducing Informative Data Processing (Building Automation) in PHE.
- Responsible for upgrading and introducing products and solutions which are technically superior and cost effective.
Our Team
Our strength lies in our entire team maintaining efficient coordination between site and HO, looking into all aspects of tendering, procurement, budgeting, billing, etc. Mr. Yogesh K Chawla (Project Co-ordinator) along with his project team of Engineers, Managers and site staff backed by our Administrative, Accounts and Marketing staff have contributed immensely to our success.

The company has devised in-house programs to ensure proper functional management and timely completion of projects being handled. Quality assurance has been one of the main thrusts of the company to ensure maintenance free functioning of various systems installed by the company for its prestigious clients.
